Ouroboros

Or the myth of the snake biting its own tail.  Nowadays, it symbolizes a painful situation that seems endless. However, it is supposed to embody the eternal cycle. I've fleshed out the mess with two snakes biting each other's tails. The end of the serpent representing the day becomes the tongue of the one who embodies the night, and vice versa.
